Why I Do This Work

I kept seeing the same pattern over and over:

Families finally receive the ADHD diagnosis… and then ask, “Okay. Now what?”

Parents trying their absolute best, yet quietly feeling like they’re failing.
Children who are bright, creative, and capable… still struggling with focus, emotions, confidence, and daily routines.

The missing piece was never more discipline.
It was understanding.

ADHD is not a character flaw.
It’s a nervous system and executive functioning difference that requires the right tools and the right support. This is where my work begins.

Grounded in Science. Led with Compassion.

I bring both professional training and lived experience to this work.

As a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, my approach is grounded in evidence-informed practice and personalized support. As someone who specializes in ADHD, I focus deeply on how attention, emotion, and executive functioning actually show up in real life.

Writing the book allowed me to take what I see in sessions and turn it into tools children and families can understand and use. And as a mother, I understand the daily realities behind the strategies.

My work blends structure with compassion, education with emotional regulation, and practical tools that fit real life. This isn’t about fixing your child. It’s about understanding their brain, supporting their strengths, and building confidence together.

Why I Created 'The Orbit Crew'

In sessions, I noticed something.

Children didn’t need more lectures.
They needed language.
They needed visuals.
They needed tools that felt empowering, not clinical.

So I created The Orbit Crew.

A group of characters designed to help children (and parents) understand ADHD in a simple, engaging way.

Each character represents a different “mission power” — focus, emotions, worry, confidence — and guides children through practical strategies they can actually use.

The book was created to bridge the gap between diagnosis and daily life.To replace shame with understanding. And overwhelm with action.
